What we collect
- Account details for people who use Securiodic: name, work email, role, and a mobile phone number if the person chooses to receive text alerts.
- Security data from the tools a customer connects, read-only, used only to show that customer their own findings and alerts.
- Sign-in and audit records: when someone signed in, from which IP address, and what they changed.
How we use it
- To run the service for the customer that the data belongs to.
- To send security alerts, invitations and account messages to the people the customer named.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer data for advertising.
Mobile phone numbers
Text alerts start once US carriers approve our number. From then on, mobile numbers and text message opt-in consent will be used only to send Securiodic alerts. A record of each opt-in and opt-out (the number, the wording agreed to, the time and the network address) is kept for 5 years as proof of consent, even after the person or company leaves. They are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Who processes data for us
Hosting and delivery providers that run the service for us: Railway (application and database), Vercel (web front end, and it relays requests to our application) and Resend (email). Amazon Web Services sends text alerts (once US carriers approve our number). Each receives only what it needs to do that job.
To read a customer's tools, we call those tools' own services (for example Microsoft, GitHub, AWS, Cloudflare, Google, Tailscale and Hetzner) with read-only keys the customer gives us.
Support access
Securiodic staff can open a customer's account only through time-limited support access. Each session records a reason, is written to the customer's audit log, and can be ended by the customer's admin.
How long we keep it
Security data and account data are kept while the customer's account is active. When a customer leaves, we delete their data on request. A person can ask us to access, correct or delete their data by writing to the contact address below, and we handle each request by hand.
Security
Connections to Securiodic use HTTPS. Our database host encrypts its disks. Connection keys are also encrypted by Securiodic before they are stored, and can never be read back through the app. Two-step sign-in is on by default for every account; a customer's admin can turn it off. Securiodic staff always use it.
